Forestation as a natural solution for climate and biodiversity protection in Divjaka-Karavasta National Park

The project “Forestation as a natural solution for climate and biodiversity protection in Divjaka-Karavasta National Park”, is implemented by Milieukontakt Albania in cooperation with NAPA and RAPA Fier. It aims to protect nature, preserve, and improve land degradation in National Park of Divjak-Karavasta. During its activities, significant areas in the park will be cleaned from various debris and pine trees will be planted in these areas. This intervention will minimize disposable and marine plastic waste, by placing the necessary bins in the park, as well as encouraging tourists and the community of the area to use textile bags. During the implementation of the project, various actors will have the opportunity to be informed about climate changes, the importance and conservation of biodiversity in  Divjak-Karavasta park.
