Aim of the project
The project “Youth for CLIMATE CHANGE (RIKLIMA)” aims to promote a transformative change in the attitudes of youth on climate change, as well as their empowerment through the promotion of environmentally friendly practices. Through a series of lectures, field trips, online awareness campaigns and dialogue, the project will inform youth about climate change, the actions they can take and their role as active actors for a better community. safe. and a better quality of life.
Activityes
RIKLIMA Academy – Series of lectures for young people about Climate Change: challenges and confrontation will enable capacity building in relation to the circular economy, energy, sustainable transport, waste, air quality, erosion, gender impact, etc.
The field visit and assessment of facts, data collection and finding solutions/intervention measures in two selected neighborhoods will also serve as a tool for community activation in climate dialogue.
“Climate Hero” social media campaign. The project will target over 80 young people to become part of this media campaign.
Youth dialogue and advocacy with the municipality for more budget / projects with environmental solutions.
