The project WatSanPlan is developing in Romania, North Macedonia, Albania and Serbia there is a lack of sustainable water and sanitation management in rural areas, which in can lead to serious consequences for the environment and the health of the population. Our aim is to introduce and further develop the instrument Water and Sanitation Safety Planning (WSSP) in the target countries. WSSP shows methods for risk analysis and assessment of water and sanitation systems and explains measures to minimize risks and improve the water and sanitation situation.
