SUP2Loop is launching its 2nd Call for Proposals, inviting Albanian businesses to pilot innovative plastic-free solutions to tackle SUP use at sport and cultural events, such as football games, music festivals, and outdoor events.
The Green Champions Cup Challenge supports MSMEs and large companies in replacing single-use plastic cups with scalable reusable systems, helping reduce plastic waste, protect the environment, and promote sustainability in high-traffic events.

We are pioneering this initiative through the EU for Circular Economy and Livable Cities project (EU4CELC), co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ Albania in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment (MoE). The EU4CELC project aims to facilitate Albania’s transition to a circular economy, empower municipalities to create livable cities for the future, and contribute to citizens’ health, green job creation, and energy efficiency.
