– Awareness raising to improve the agreement and joint management of Shkodra Lake
– Increasing the promotion for sustainable use of Shkodra Lake
Project Objectives:
– Capacity Building for improvement of Lake Management Agreement which aims to establish and operate the Shkodra Lake Commission, its Secretariat
and the Bilateral Working Groups;
– Promoting sustainable use of the lake which will promote the implementation of sustainable approaches to the economic development of the lake
(and its natural resources), focusing on tourism and fisheries;
– Attract investments to stimulate waste reduction activities, resulting in less pollution in the lake.
