Main project achievements
Analysis of natural disasters occurring in recent years; statistical data on injuries and affected population and infrastructure works damaged by natural disasters
Analysis of vulnerable communities, reasons of vulnerability, assessment of their knowledge of the risk and the risk to which they are exposed.
Assessing human capacities at prefecture and municipality level to deal with natural disasters.
Mapping of affected areas, damages caused and affected population in GIS system
Assess the need for intervention and improvement of the situation. Specific recommendations for improvement.
Project Objectives:
Assessment of the stuation of natural disasters in Albania for the period 2014-2017. Providing alternatives, recomandations and measures to be taken in the future from CSOs.
